EduRoam (Education Roaming) is a global, secure wireless network service that allows users from NREN-connected institutions to access the internet at any EduRoam-enabled institution worldwide using their home institution’s credentials. This service provides a seamless and secure roaming experience for researchers, students, and faculty members visiting other EduRoam-enabled institutions, both in Nepal and internationally. As a National Roaming Operator (NRO), NREN has enabled EduRoam across 27 member institutions in Nepal. We continue to expand this service, enabling wider access to global educational resources and facilitating easier academic mobility.
With EduRoam, users benefit from easy network access, secure authentication, and a reliable connection at partner institutions across over 110 countries and territories, making it a key service for enhancing global research collaboration.
